8 I tell you, he will give justice to them ^aspeedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, ^bwill he find faith on earth?”

Godlessness in the Last Days

1 But understand this, that ^cin the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be ^dlovers of self, ^elovers of money, ^fproud, ^garrogant, abusive, ^hdisobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 ⁱheartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, ^jnot loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, ^kswollen with conceit, ^llovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but ^mdenying its power. ⁿAvoid such people. 6 For among them are ^othose who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to ^parrive at a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as ^qJannes and Jambres ^ropposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, ^smen corrupted in mind and ^tdisqualified regarding the faith. 9 But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, ^uas was that of those two men.
